Lorem Evolution

I loved Lorem Ipsum. I always used that text in prototypes, my graphic designer team mates always used that in layouts & style guides and my information architect team mates always used it in wire frames.
It only had 2 problems:
- Text and paragraph were too regular compared to the real content: when real content replaced the lorem impsum, the page looked quite different and not as good as before
- Client almost never understood the meaning of it and always asked for lorem ipsum to be replaced, even on prototypes or on under development websites, causing delays
That’s why, with a couple of friends during a lunch a few days ago, we thought about the Lorem Evolution: a place holder text, contextualized with the page / site topic, taken from a real page, maybe containing links and some formatting.
